How QuickMass Supports Lean Muscle Growth

Building mass requires a consistent calorie surplus, and getting there from food alone is a challenge for hard gainers and athletes with high metabolic demands. QuickMass provides a structured, nutrient-dense calorie surplus designed to support lean mass rather than excess fat.

• A randomized controlled trial by Rozenek et al. found that participants consuming a high-calorie carbohydrate and protein supplement (2,010 kcal/day) gained 6.4 lbs of fat-free mass over 8 weeks of resistance training, significantly more than the unsupplemented control group, demonstrating that caloric and protein surpluses meaningfully accelerate lean muscle gains beyond training alone.

• A randomized controlled trial published in the Journal of Nutrition found that co-ingesting carbohydrate and protein hydrolysate during exercise increased whole-body protein synthesis by 29% compared to water only. During subsequent overnight recovery, whole-body protein synthesis remained 19% greater in the supplement group, confirming that combined carbohydrate-protein intake supports both performance and recovery-phase muscle building.

Mass Gainer or Whey Protein: Which One Is Right for You?

Whey protein is designed for individuals who meet their daily calorie needs from food and want to supplement protein intake specifically. A mass gainer like ALLMAX QuickMass is designed for individuals who consistently fall short of their total daily calorie requirements: hard gainers, athletes with very high metabolic demands, or those who cannot eat enough whole-food volume. If you are gaining weight but not muscle, a mass gainer adds structured calories. If you are hitting your calorie targets and just need more protein, Isoflex Whey Protein Isolate or ALLMAX Hexapro is the better fit.

What Sets the CARBPLEX Carbohydrate Blend Apart

Most mass gainers rely heavily on maltodextrin and sugar, which are fast-digesting carbs that spike blood glucose and contribute to fat gain. QuickMass uses CARBPLEX: a blend of complex, long-chain carbohydrates including sweet potato, oat fiber, quinoa flour, Cyclo-D™ (highly-branched cyclic dextrin), and waxy maize starch. These absorb more slowly than sugar, providing sustained calorie availability without blood sugar crashes.
